Custom dye-sublimation ribbon refers to a kind of ribbon used for dye-sublimation printing.

First, a special ink is used to print the pattern onto sublimation paper.

Next, the pattern on the sublimation paper is transferred to the blank ribbon by applying heat and pressure. The heat causes the sublimation ink to turn into a gas and penetrate the ribbon surface, creating a vibrant and durable sublimation ribbon.

After transfer, the material cools and the ink returns to its solid state, permanently embedding the design into the ribbon.
